John Lutzker, PhD is Distinguished University Professor at Georgia State University, as well as director of the Center for Healthy Development and Associate Dean for Faculty Development at the Georgia State University School of Public Health. He is a leading expert in child neglect and maltreatment prevention. He received his PhD from the University of Kansas in developmental and child psychology and his MA and BA in psychology from San Francisco State College. He previously served the US federal government as Distinguished Consultant and Chief in the Prevention, Development and Evaluation Branch at the CDC.
