David Roe, PhD, is a Professor of Psychology and Director of the Center for Community Mental Health Research, Training, Services and Policy at the University of Haifa. He is also a registered licensed clinical psychologist. He received his BA from Brown University, and his M.Phil, MSc, and PhD from Columbia University. He was also a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research at Rutgers University. Prof. Roe was among the initiators of the new Israel Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association (ISPRA) and serves as a member of its managing committee. Among other roles, he serves as the deputy editor of the Israel Journal of Psychiatry and Related Sciences and associate editor of BMC Psychiatry.
