Orna Baron-Epel, PhD, MPH is the head of the University of Haifa School of Public Health and professor in the Department of Health Promotion. She initiated and developed the master’s program in health promotion at the School of Public Health. She received her PhD from Tel Aviv University, her MPH from Hebrew University, and her BSc from Tel Aviv University. She was previously a visiting scholar at the University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health and at the San Diego State University School of Public Health in the Center of Behavioral Epidemiology and Community Health. She is currently the editor of the Israeli Health Promotion Journal.
