Curriculum

The program consists of 45 credits including 7 core courses, 7 concentration courses, an Applied Learning Experience and an Integrated Learning Experience, and 8 elective courses. Coursework is completed over three consecutive semesters from October through September. The program is full-time with on-campus instruction. Courses will mainly be held three days per week each semester. Please note that the curriculum is subject to change without notice.

In addition to fulfilling the other requirements of the MPH degree program, students have the option to complete a thesis for credit towards a doctoral degree program at the University of Haifa. Students who complete their thesis later than one semester after the completion of their coursework may be expected to pay an additional fee as detailed by the Graduate Studies Authority.

Interested students may want to take advantage of the International School's Hebrew and/or Arabic courses, although it is not required and is not included in the tuition. Intensive language courses are offered during the summer (July and August) and throughout the course of the semester. Please see the International School website for more details (www.uhaifa.org).
